Dr Anna Kluczewska, Managing Director, AION Diagnostics

Dr Anna Kluczewska talks to Fintan Walton about how the Australian AION diagnostics was set up as a spin-out from pSivida (of which it is a subsidiary), based on novel BioSilicon™ technologies. They discuss AION's business model, divestment plans and long-term goal of focusing on becoming a molecular imaging-based company. Anna explains the expansion of the company's operations into the US as well as its intention to develop its diagnostics business via the formation of collaborations. She also outlines the key challenges that AION faces over the next few years.

About Anna Kluczewska

Dr Kluczewska has had direct experience in the senior management of publicly listed companies as an officer, with a significant role in capital raising. Anna is also a Member of the Advisory Board to the Chemistry Centre of Western Australia. Prior to her role with AION, Anna gained valuable experience in a global product management role with Baxter Healthcare, where she oversaw the management of Baxter BioSurgery's products in over 50 countries, focusing on product registration, launch and global product management.
