Mervyn Jacobson, CEO, explains to Fintan Walton the role of the immune system in treating diseases such as cancer. Recently, Immunaid has established clinical trials all over the world, including a five year program at the Mayo Clinic. Immunaid is focussing on a new approach to turning-off cancer completely, and indeed personalised medicine, by centring on the optimal time to treat illnesses within each person’s own immune cycle. So how does that work, and if successful, could this treatment be expanded to other chronic illnesses such as autoimmune and degenerative diseases?
